Yesterday was spent stocking up in the cash and carry which meant I was able to add some extra new fruity tea's as well as some flavoured syrups for the morning porridge. I actually tried the blueberry syrup on my cornflakes this morning along with some fresh strawberries and was surprised just how good it tasted with them. Also found some rather Jazzy emoji bottles of spring water which give the complimentory trays in the room a bit of a Jazz up! The weather over the past few days has been bright and sunny which has given me the extra motivation to do some extra spring cleaning and sorting out some jobs which I had been putting off.  My Picture of the day is from 3 years ago of Hilda my dog a Bastoodle ( Bassett x miniature Poodle).

Roast Lamb with the usual Sunday trimmings went down a treat before I took the dogs out for a long walk. Found some new areas around Pollington which I didn't know existed and the dogs loved exploring the new areas as well as giving them plenty of exercise. Had some lovely feedback vis text and e-mail today which is really nice to get.

A busy morning completing the daily tasks of cleaning and changing rooms. Friday always seems a bit manic as its Laundry day. our laundry gets collected and delivered weekly which is great as saves me spending every day washing bedding and towels but does then mean putting all the clean linen away as well as checking stock and stock counts. A drive to Selby for some weekend supplies the local Co-Op in Snaith is great but unfortunately I cannot get all my supplies from them. This afternoon has been spent catching up on some maintenance.  ]]>
